Cookies are small records stored by a browser for a website. Similar technologies may store settings in browser memory or transmit technical events. This Policy applies according to their purpose, not merely the technology’s name.
2. Necessary technologies
Necessary cookies support access to the private application page, session and request security, action verification and storage of cookie choices. They are not used for advertising or optional behavioural analysis. Disabling them may make the relevant function unavailable; consent to optional cookies is not a condition of applying.
The private application page uses technical login and request-protection cookies lasting no more than seven days; access may end earlier. Your cookie choice is kept on this device in localStorage under kac.public-privacy.v1 for six calendar months. It contains the selected option and the choice and expiry dates. This record is necessary to respect your choice and does not itself activate analytics.
3. Optional technologies
After “Accept all”, the website may send page speed and stability measurements to Sentry to assess service quality. Limited sampling uses the sessionStorage record kac.public-web-vitals.sample.v1, lasting until the browser session ends. This optional reporting is disabled after “Necessary only” and before any choice. Advertising technologies are not included in this flow.
Videos use YouTube only after you press Play. Before that, the website uses its own cover image or placeholder and does not connect the YouTube player. Play loads a player from youtube-nocookie.com: YouTube/Google receives technical data needed for playback and may process it under its own rules, including outside your country. Privacy-enhanced mode does not mean that no data is transferred. Google’s policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy. Pressing Play permits connection of that video; it does not enable website analytics or change a “Necessary only” choice.
4. Choices and changes
The notice offers “Accept all” and “Necessary only” and explains in advance that Play connects YouTube. Before a choice, only necessary mechanisms operate. Visiting, scrolling or dismissing the notice is not consent. Refusing optional technologies does not restrict applications, login, request security or payment. After either choice, the player still connects only through a separate Play action.
The “Change cookie choice” button on this page resets the choice and reopens the same notice. Further optional measurement reporting stops and any open player is disconnected; login and necessary payment mechanisms remain available. You may then choose “Necessary only” or “Accept all” again. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Deleting browser records also resets the choice and may require another login.
5. Lifetimes and updates
Six calendar months after a choice, the notice appears again; optional analytics remain disabled until a new choice. Session records last for their relevant session. Retention of data already sent to a server is governed by the Privacy Policy and the provider’s applicable rules.
