Mountaineering and alpine skiing instructor.
I have climbed routes up to grade 5B in the Caucasus and the Pamirs, as well as peaks in the Alps, the Andes and Africa. My mountaineering experience spans ranges on different continents, each with its own conditions and character.
My travels include ski expeditions to the North and South Poles and an Atlantic crossing on a sailing yacht. In total, I have visited 98 countries. I also work as a photographer.
A 24-day trek along the Baltoro Glacier to K2 Base Camp, crossing Gondogoro La and descending into the Hushe Valley. Tent camps, a considered acclimatization schedule and a support team.
